We moved to Barrie when Sumant took a role at Georgian College, leading its international work across Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Over ten years, he helped grow international enrolment from 96 students to 2,200.
Barrie gave us Kempenfelt Bay on a quiet morning, long summer evenings by the water, and neighbours who said hello. It gave us a place to raise our kids. Both were born here and grew up here. Our son is now in his third year of university, and our daughter is in high school. Every first day of school, graduation and birthday happened in this city.
Barrie has given us a lot. This business is how we say thank you.
